The Institute

Founded in 2007 under the banner of Rungta Educational Foundation (REF) in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, GD Rungta College of Science & Technology (GDRCST) stands as a prominent center of educational excellence in Central India. Previously known as the Santosh Rungta Group (R1), Rungta Educational Foundation’s educational journey commenced in 1999 under the auspices of the GDR Educational Society. It holds recognition from the Department of Higher Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, and maintains affiliations with Hemchand Yadav University, Durg. GDRCST offers an array of academic programs, including BBA, BCom (CA), BCA, B.Sc. (Biotechnology, Computer Science, Maths), M.Sc. (Biotechnology), BA (Sociology, Political Science, English Literature, Hindi Literature), B.Ed., D.Ed., M.Ed., MSW, and PGDCA.
